Can-Do Cutlery
Can-do cutlery is a FAT new style of cutlery, designed to order for children or adults who have difficulty gripping average size cutlery!
Inspired by the Stroke Survivors I train through the ARNI Trust, Can-Do cutlery is designed so that hands with limited grip and/or dexterity can hold and take control of cutlery effectively and therefore eat their food along with everyone else at the table. They are roughly 2.5cm in diameter and as brightly coloured as you like! Patterns are also effective as they provide added grip and texture, especially effective for less sensitive hands. Can-Do cutlery is ideal for people of all ages and/or condition from Arthritis to Stroke to Cerebral palsy. Get in contact!
I take good quality stainless steel eating irons and use fimo clay to create a much thicker handle. It has been proven to be highly effective and offers an affordable route to independence when eating with the family, or even in a restaurant.
They are made to order and designed especially for you so take a look below at possible designs and/or colours. All the colours shown below are available, in any format. You can mix and match if you would like, just ask! Equally if you have a special request for a design, feel free to ask - I'll give a very honest answer as to whether its possible or not!
Additionally, why not get a full set for the whole family? Nobody likes being the odd-one-out! You can order full sets of cutlery where one set is of the large variety and the rest are designed in the same style but average size.
