In 2007, I qualified as Master Trainer with the Australian Institute of Fitness, REPS level 3. I am also trained in First Aid with many years experience and qualified to instruct individuals whom a General Practitioner has referred. My aim is to appeal to all populations and inspire individuals or groups of people, to enjoy exercise and adopt a healthier lifestyle. It worries me that some people give up on themselves because they think it’s easier not to do any exercise and just deal with the consequences.
Having initially pursued a career in the RAF as Airman Aircrew, I became very aware during the final stages of training that my passion for helping people within the Health and Fitness domain was overwhelming. I take enormous pleasure in helping people achieve both their physical and mental goals in order to improve their quality of life, or assisting them in reaching their optimal physical performance in a sporting context. So I left the RAF and redirected my own goals towards becoming a successful Personal Trainer.
As mentioned above, my aim is to appeal to all populations and inspire individuals or groups of people to enjoy exercise and adopt a healthier lifestyle. In particular, those people who have almost given up on the whole “fitness thing”!
STOP!! Exercise doesn’t have to be feared, it doesn’t have to be painful and doesn’t have to be done in a gym or involve running for miles! In this modern age there is an exercise regime for everyone, be you 70 and just had a hip replacement or 7 and want to be the next Martin Johnson, or simply want to shift a few, or a few hundred pounds!
As a versatile and down-to-earth personal trainer I could help you with a regime that suits you. At home, in the gym, outside or in a swimming pool you can achieve your goals.
